Recently I chat with my friend about getting him back in Hong Kong and how much he’s gonna save in tax only if he moved back. (Not to mention the cost of living is hell lower here)

As he earns around HKD 450K @ US, I take a 30% off for his supposed pay-out in HK, ignoring those localized tax

HKD 450K income @ US = HKD 66K tax

HKD 450K income @ HK = HKD 46K tax

That alone is 20K less in tax which should make his living good enough, and can head for a decent trip in Japan, not to mention all sort of deductibles (Continue Education, Montage Interest, Parent Caring, etc….)

Come back to HK brother!
